             The Integrative Business Experience (IBE) is a unique program offered through the Harmon College of Business at the University of Central Missouri. This program consists of three business courses (Management of Organizations, Management of Information Systems, and Marketing Policy) and a three credit hour practicum. These classes are taught with regular lectures and team based learning. Students are given the opportunity to have the hands on experience of creating a small start up business and serving a charity of their choice through the three credit hour practicum.

 

             It is a great way for students to gain real life experiences and apply the concepts that they have been taught. Each company designs and sells their own product to sell. When all of the companies expenses are paid, the proceeds go to the charity of their choice.
