About IBE

             What is IBE?  IBE is the Integrative Business Experience here at the University of Central Missouri in the Harmon College of Business.  The main objective of this course is to allow undergraduate students from UCM to gain real life business experience by starting and running a small business.  In addition to running a small business, students are also enrolled in classes depending on their major.  The classes that IBE students are involved in are Management of Organizations, Marketing Policy, Management Information Systems, and IBE practicum.  In IBE, students are split into separate companies, and from there the companies are responsible for deciding on a product, receiving a loan, marketing the product, selling the product, and lastly, donating all the profits to a charity that each company has chosen at the beginning of the course.  To learn more about IBE visit http://ibe.ucmo.edu.
