IBE Spring 2009

What is IBE? IBE stands for integrative business experience. It includes four courses: Management, Marketing, CIS, and a practicum. Students are spited into groups of 5 or six, and then become two independent companies. There are tests and quizzes in class as regular class, the big difference is students have chance to apply all the concept to real business for experience. The company will have to function like a real company. It must find at least one product and one charity to work with. After deciding what product to work with, students will prepare and make their loan presentation to banker to get their money in order to start their business. The company will start to sell their product along with doing its community service. In the end of the semester, after paying back their debt for the bank, all the profit goes to the charity. |
