What is IBE?

Integrative Business Experience (IBE) is a four class block taught at the University of Central Missouri, which includes Management of Organizations, Marketing Policy, and Management Information Systems classes, as well as IBE practicum. What really sets IBE apart from just regular business classes is in the practicum portion where students are broken into separate companies and set out to establish a small business. The students must choose a product and a charity, complete community service, obtain a loan, market and sell their product, pay off the loan, and donate all profits to charity, all in a 16-week college semester. Our Service

As a component of IBE we are required to choose do a certain number of service hours.  We chose Big Brothers Big Sisters of Johnson county.  As a company we required each of our members to complete at least 10 hours of community service.  Visit the charity page for more information.
