Integrative Business Experience |

The University of Central Missouri Integrative Business Experience (IBE) is an intensive hands-on foundation for undergraduate business education. This course is broke down into four courses; Management Information Systems, Management of Organizations, and Marketing Policy, and an IBE practicum course. Students gain insight on how a business actually runs and what is important to a business to keep it running through these courses. The goal of this block is for students to get real hands-on experience to prepare them for what they might encounter in the real-world. The class is broke down into two businesses. The students then start up their own business by deciding on a product, acquiring an actual loan from a bank, decide on a charity to donate the proceeds and their time to. The students are also required to do community service and they must also have a sustainable community service project. |
