Run for the Wounded 5K

G.I. Mo put on a 5K race that began and finished at the heart of UCM campus in Warrensburg, MO.  All ages were welcome to participate and given an opportunity to say why they were running or whom they were running for.  Overall the race profited a total of $1,415 for our charity The Wounded Warrior Project.

We want to thank the many people and business' that made this happen: The Wounded Warrior Project, KCPT, USBank, The Cake Pan, McDonalds, Price Chopper, Starbucks, UCM Health Center, UCM Student Recreation & Wellness Center, UCM Meeting and Conference Services, Jim Bradley & his awesome DJ Services, Hero's Restaurant, Maurices, UCM Office of Military and Veteran's Services and The Student Veteran Association, MO the Mule, UCM School of Nursing, Warrensburg Daily Star-Journal Warrensburg, The Muleskinner, Lucas David Pauley Event Photographer, The Women of Delta Zeta UCM Sorority, the Women of Alpha Phi UCM Sorority, members of I.B.E. Company Central Time, Kevin Sneed, Jeff Robinson with UCM Office of General Council, All of our many volunteers, and of course the over 70 Runners and Walkers who came out on a crisp November morning and made our IBE G.I. MO and the Wounded Warrior Project Charity Event a huge success!
