The Integrative Business Experience is a group of four courses that give students a chance to get a real life appreciation of how to start a company from the ground up.  The block of courses consist of Marketing Policy, Management Information Systems, Management of Organization, and a IBE Practicum where students get to practice a true company setting.  The class is divided into three separate companies, which are then broken down into 5 groups for in class assignments.  Each company researches, develops, and sells a product of their choice.  Companies get to make a impact on the community by choosing a non-profit organization to donate their proceeds.  Along with the donation, members use their skills and abilities to do sustainable events for their organization.  Throughout the semester students are challenged by multiple opportunities to help their company succeed.  The combination of goals and experience gained makes for a exciting venture.  For more info visit ibe.ucmo.edu
