IBE The Integrative Business Experience (I.B.E.) is a class that business majors can take to give them valuable experience in the business world while still in college. The IBE block of classes consists of four courses three of which are actual classes and the fourth is a practicum class dedicated to actual hands on experience. C.I.S. , Marketing, and Management are the courses that individuals take to assist them in the practicum course. In the practicum course students set up their own business and develop a product to sell with all their profits benefiting a local charity. Students also devote much of their time to working directly with the charity gaining community service hours. The IBE program gives students an opportunity to develop valuable work experience and helps to reinforce the course work that they have been taking through out their college careers. |
