The main focus for the IBE black is to get students to have hands on
experience with the real world. The program is set up that the class is
split in to three groups. Every group is a considered a company. Class
meets three times a week on Monday, Wednesday, and on Friday from 9-12
then a company meting from 12-1. Within these companies meetings the
company has to come up with a product, apply for a loan, sell the
product, and pay the loan back. This makes for a fast and full semester.

Giving Back to the Community
The second part of the IBE block
is a Service. As a company the students have to decide on to what
charitable organization to donate their profits to. Also the company is
to participate in a service project. This gives the companies an idea of
what it is like to be part of a non-profit organization.
