What is the Integrated Business
Experience
(IBE)?
IBE is a set of three classes
(Marketing, Management, and Computer Information Systems) plus a
practicum where we essentially start a business with our
classmates.
The remaining profit we collect after
paying off our bank loan and supplier will go toward the service
project of our choice. We chose the Warrensburg Animal Shelter
and the Warrensburg Middle School's outdoor classroom.
IBE Companies Give Back
IBE requires students to complete a
number of service hours over the course of the semester and
donate the net profit of the company to the charity of the
companie's choice
MoTMUndercover donated over 187 service hours to both
the animal shelter and the outdoor classroom, averaging out to
be about 10 hours per individual in our company. To date,
students at UCM have donated their profits exceeding $30,931 as
well as donating over 2026 service hours to their charities of
choice.

General Mission Statement of
(IBE):
IBE's mission is to create a hands-on
'real world' experience of starting a business in a classroom
setting. It incorporates the ability of using the terminology
and knowledge we gain from the three classes and letting
students apply what they learn to their companies. Everything
from contacting and working with suppliers and middlemen to the
process of getting our company logo trademarked is included with
the use of practicum class time.
