The Integrative Business Experience is intensive, real life experience.  Instead of sitting in class all day learning just enough to do well on a test, students actually engage in an actual business.  The students go through the experience of creating and managing their own start-up company with real money.  The profits earned go towards managing and carrying-out a hands on community service project.

Besides learning about being apart of a business, students also actively engage in a community service project.  The service part can either be divided so the service and donations are either the same or different.  When choosing one or two charities the important criteria to keep in mind are whether it is locally known, if it has a good reputation, something that the whole company thinks is a good cause, if they are willing to work on events with the company, and if they have a low overhead cost.  A good charity can be found at a service fair, the local Chamber of Commerce, or the internet.
